Last updated: October 5, 2026
This policy explains what personal information michaelmitov.com collects, why, and what happens to it. The site is operated by Michael (Mihail) Mitov, Deon Designs, in British Columbia, Canada. Questions about privacy can be sent to hello@michaelmitov.com.
Information this site receives
Details you choose to submit. The contact and quote forms pass along whatever you type into them: usually your name, email address, phone number (optional), website address and a description of your project. If you email or call, I receive whatever you choose to share.
Technical information. Like most websites, the hosting platform (Cloudflare) processes technical data such as IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. When a form is submitted, the country the request came from and the page it was sent from are included in the email I receive, to help filter spam.
This site does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.
What it is used for
- Answering your message and, if you ask for one, preparing a proposal.
- Carrying out and billing for work you have commissioned.
- Keeping the site safe and filtering out spam.
Your details are never sold or shared for anyone else’s marketing, and an enquiry does not put you on a newsletter list unless you ask to join one.
Where it is stored
Form submissions are sent by email through Cloudflare to my business inbox and are not stored in a website database. Email and business records are kept with reputable providers whose servers may be located in Canada or the United States. Information is kept for as long as needed to respond, deliver services and meet legal and tax obligations.
Your choices
You can request a copy of what I have on file about you, ask for corrections, or ask for deletion where no legal duty requires me to keep it. Email hello@michaelmitov.com and I will respond within 30 days. Canadian residents may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Other websites
Portfolio entries, articles and toolkit items point to websites run by other people, which have their own privacy practices.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
