Cheap shared hosting is the most common reason a well-built website still feels slow. Hundreds of sites share one server, resources are oversold, and support means a chat window with someone who has never seen your site. Managed cloud hosting fixes that by putting your site on dedicated cloud resources, with a CDN in front, and a real person responsible for keeping it healthy.
There are two ways I do this. Most clients prefer that I host the site on cloud infrastructure I manage, so there is one point of contact for the website and the server. Some businesses, especially those with an IT policy or an existing provider, want the account in their own name. In that case I set up the cloud server or managed host for you, configure it properly and manage it on your behalf, and you keep full ownership.
Either way, the setup is the same. Current PHP and database versions, server-level caching, a CDN and firewall at the edge through Cloudflare, free SSL that renews itself, automatic daily backups stored off the server, and uptime monitoring that alerts me before you notice anything. Web hosting for a small business should be something you never have to think about.

What is managed cloud hosting?
It is hosting on cloud servers where someone else handles the setup, security, updates, backups and monitoring. You get the speed of a dedicated cloud server without having to run it yourself.
Do I own my website if you host it?
Yes. Your content, files and domain are always yours, and I will hand over a complete copy whenever you ask. If you prefer, the hosting account itself can be in your name.
Can you host email as well?
I recommend keeping email with a dedicated provider such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, which is more reliable than server email. I set up the DNS records so it works correctly with your site.
Is cloud hosting more expensive than shared hosting?
